Research Technician Responsible for the non-accredited mechanical laboratory
Soraya Diego is an Industrial Engineer from the University of Cantabria, holds a Master’s Degree in Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency, and is completing a Doctorate in Quality in “Development and Application of Models in Civil Engineering” at the University of Cantabria. His professional career begins in the field of private enterprise, assuming various responsibilities in the maintenance department of the Bridgestone company.
Subsequently, he accesses the position of business park manager at Metrovacesa. In 2007 he joined the LADICIM as a qualified Laboratory Technician and Researcher. Since 2010 enjoy a Venia Docendi.
Participates in various national and European research programs. She is the author of different articles in national and international journals, and has participated in multiple congresses in the area of Materials Science and Railway Innovation. In parallel, it carries out continuous training in specialized courses (Risk Prevention, Environment, Materials and Structural Integrity, among others).
