José Antonio Casado

Research professor. LADICIM Director

José Antonio Casado del Prado has been a Full Professor at the University of the Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering area since May 2008. He is currently the coordinator of the Doctoral Program and deputy director of the Department of Science and Engineering of the Land and Materials of the ETSI Roads, Canals and Ports of the University of Cantabria. He has a teaching experience of over 18 years focused mainly in the field of polymers, composites and biological materials. Due to its research activity, it has two six-year terms positively assessed by the CNEAI. He is the author of more than 15 publications in indexed journals and has been a principal investigator in several projects financed in competitive public calls.

LINES OF INVESTIGATION

Mechanical behavior of polymers, composites, biological materials and railway superstructure.
