Jesús Setién Martínez

Research Professor Responsible for Doctorate, Coordinator of the Microscopy Laboratory

Bachelor (1990) and Doctor (1997) in Physical Sciences from the University of Cantabria. Professor of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering of the University of Cantabria since 2008. He is currently Deputy Director of the Polytechnic School of Mines and Energy of the University of Cantabria, as well as Coordinator of Exchange Programs and International Practices.

  • Recycled concrete.
  • Valorization of steel slags for use in Civil Engineering applications.
  • Archeometallurgical Analysis
