Finite elements
The Finite Element Method (MEF) is used in the stages of design and optimization of products and industrial applications, as well as in the simulation of complex physical systems. Currently, it has become an indispensable tool for performing unconventional structural calculations. The LADICIM has the licenses for the commercial programs ANSYS (APDL and Workbench) V17 and ABAQUS 2017, having extensive experience in the resolution of structural calculations and fracture mechanics (in elastic and plastic regime), fatigue life analysis, transmission of heat, thermomechanical problems, among others.
