The Finite Element Method (FEM) is used for the design and optimization of industrial products and applications, as well as in the simulation of complex physical systems. Currently it has become an indispensable tool to conduct non-conventional structural calculations. The LADICIM has the licenses for the commercial programs ANSYS (APDL and Workbench) V19 and ABAQUS 2019 and a wide experience in the resolution of structural calculations and fracture mechanics (in the elastic and plastic regimes), fatigue life analysis, heat transmission and thermomechanical problems, among others.
