Guillermo Manuel Gómez Ortiz holds a Technical Engineering degree in Public Works from the University of Cantabria (2013), a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the European University of Madrid (2016), and an International Master’s degree in Building Technology, Rehabilitation, and Management from the University of Cantabria (2024).
He has training in Occupational Risk Prevention (specializing in Construction) and holds a B2 level English certification according to the CEFR.
Since December 2024, he has been professionally active at LADICIM, where he is responsible for technical, administrative, and logistical tasks related to natural stone materials.
His duties include handling strain measurement systems, operating universal testing machines for mechanical tests—both electromechanical and servohydraulic—preparing test reports, manufacturing, preparing, and instrumenting concrete specimens, and applying national and international standards such as EN, ISO, ASTM, and DNV.
