Gonzalo Díaz Bezanilla holds a Technical Industrial Engineering degree, with a specialization in Mechanics, from the University of Cantabria (2007). He later obtained certification as an International Welding Engineer (IWE) in 2012, through training provided by the Fundación Laboral del Metal de Cantabria and accredited by the Spanish Association of Welding and Joining Technologies (CESOL). He also holds a Master’s Degree in Integrity and Durability of Materials, Components, and Structures from the University of Cantabria (2020).

Since October 2019, he has been working as a Mechanical Testing Engineer at LADICIM, where he performs material characterization tests, participates in applied research projects, and collaborates on technological services for industry. His work includes conducting mechanical tests, supervising the proper functioning of equipment, and preparing technical reports.
