Abstract:

Manufacturing process of a metallic substrate with a graphene coating, featuring high thermal conductivity both in the perpendicular and parallel directions to said substrate, comprising the following steps in sequence: mixing of sodium-doped graphene oxide (GO:Na), carried out by diluting GO and sodium acetate in water in amounts of 2% and 1.5% by weight relative to the water, respectively; homogenization by ultrasound radiation: 1.5–2.5 h; airbrush coating of the homogenized mixture onto the substrate at a pressure of 2–3 bar, at a temperature of 120–140 ºC, applied at a distance of 20–30 cm; heating in air at 120–140 ºC for 2.5–3.5 h.
