Miguel Ángel Fernández Cano holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cantabria (2022) and a Master’s Degree in Integrity and Durability of Materials, Components, and Structures from the University of Cantabria and the University of Oviedo (2023).

Since 2023, he has been working as a Laboratory Technician at LADICIM. His responsibilities include conducting standardized tests for the mechanical and microstructural characterization of metallic materials, polymers, and concrete; analyzing results and drafting technical reports; preparing, assembling, and instrumenting samples; programming data acquisition systems (Wavematrix, PCK, IRYSIS 1000); and designing custom fixtures for experimental setups. He is also proficient in international standards relevant to the industrial and civil sectors, such as ISO, ASTM, and BS.
